Origin Yoga is an online yoga platform offering live classes taught by teachers based in Rishikesh, India, delivered via Zoom to members across Australia. These Terms & Conditions govern your membership and use of our services.

Founding member status is available to the first 50 members who join Origin Yoga. The founding member rate of AUD $99 per month is locked for the lifetime of your continuous membership. This rate will not increase as long as your membership remains active and uninterrupted.

Two live batches are available each evening. Your preferred batch will be confirmed within 24 hours of reservation. Batch availability is subject to capacity.
Your founding member rate is contingent on continuous membership. If you cancel your membership and wish to rejoin, you will be subject to the prevailing rate at the time of rejoining, which may be higher than the founding member rate.
Live classes are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday evening. Members receive 12 live classes per month.
All classes are delivered live via Zoom. A Zoom link will be provided to you upon membership confirmation. The same link will be used for all your scheduled classes.
If you miss a live class, a recording will be made available to you for 24 hours following the class. After 24 hours the recording will be removed. We strongly encourage live attendance as the live experience is central to the practice.
In the unlikely event that a scheduled class is cancelled by Origin Yoga due to teacher unavailability or technical issues, we will notify you as soon as possible and endeavour to reschedule or provide a replacement class within the same month.
Classes will generally continue on Australian public holidays. In the event of a class cancellation on a public holiday, members will be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
Membership fees are billed monthly on the same date each month from the date your membership begins.
We accept major credit and debit cards. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider.
If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to process the payment again within 3 business days. If payment remains unsuccessful after two attempts, your membership may be suspended until payment is received.
Founding members are protected from any price increases for the lifetime of their continuous membership. Non-founding members will be given 30 days written notice of any price change.
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting us at support@originyoga.com.au. Cancellations must be received at least 15 days before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month.
Upon cancellation your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation is confirmed.
We do not offer refunds for partially used membership months. If you cancel mid-month you will retain access to classes until the end of that billing period.
If a founding member cancels their membership, their founding member rate is permanently forfeited. Rejoining after cancellation will be at the prevailing rate at the time of rejoining.
In cases of serious illness, bereavement or other exceptional circumstances, please contact us at support@originyoga.com.au. We will consider requests for membership pauses or refunds on a case by case basis with compassion and understanding.
All members are expected to treat teachers, fellow members and Origin Yoga staff with respect at all times — in live classes, in the private members community and in all communications.
Access to the private members community is a membership benefit. Members who engage in disrespectful, harmful or inappropriate behaviour within the community may have their access removed without refund.
Members may not record, share, distribute or reproduce any live class content without the prior written consent of Origin Yoga. All class content is the intellectual property of Origin Yoga and its teachers.
Members are encouraged to keep their video on during live classes as it enhances the experience for teachers and fellow practitioners. Disruptive behaviour during live classes may result in removal from the session.
Origin Yoga classes involve physical movement and breathwork. You should consult your medical practitioner before beginning any yoga practice, particularly if you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries or are pregnant.
You participate in all Origin Yoga classes entirely at your own risk. Origin Yoga and its teachers are not liable for any injury, illness or loss that arises from your participation in classes.
Our teachers will offer modifications for poses where appropriate. It is your responsibility to practice within your own limits and to inform your teacher of any injuries or limitations before class begins.
All content on the Origin Yoga website, social media platforms and within classes — including but not limited to class recordings, written content, images, videos and the Origin Yoga name and logo — is the intellectual property of Origin Yoga and may not be reproduced, distributed or used without prior written consent.
The teachings, sequences and philosophies shared by Origin Yoga teachers are the intellectual heritage of the Rishikesh yoga tradition and are shared with respect and care. They may not be commercialised or reproduced without permission.
We collect your name, email address, payment details and batch preference for the purpose of providing your membership. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
By becoming a member you agree to receive membership-related communications from Origin Yoga. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
Our full Privacy Policy is available on our website and forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Origin Yoga shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to technical issues, interruptions to live classes or loss of access to recordings.
Our total liability to you in any circumstances shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the month in which the relevant issue occurred.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from your membership will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
Origin Yoga reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any material changes with at least 14 days notice via email. Continued use of the membership after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
